Les chrétiens qui croient au récit littéral de la Genèse sont traités de "Créationnistes" - terme péjoratif qui cherche à les ridiculiser.
C'est une sorte de sobriquet destiné à faire penser qu'ils sont un peu arriérés, accrochés à des dogmes ridicules - qu'ils refusent les évidences, ou pire encore - qu'ils sont carrément anti-scientifiques !11 Juillet 2025 - 87

Robert Boyle, James Clerk Maxwell, Isaac Newton, Louis Pasteur, Charles Bell, Johannes Keppler, William Kirby, George Washington Carver.
Aujourd'hui encore, il existe de nombreux scientifiques professionnels de haut niveau qui croient littéralement au récit de la Genèse - et qui osent même l'affirmer publiquement (!). Certains étaient athées ou agnostiques, d'autres étaient croyants mais restaient évolutionnistes, n'arrivant pas à concevoir que le récit de la Genèse puisse être vrai. Aujourd'hui leur foi s'appuie sur la Bible - et - sur des données scientifiques sérieuses et concrètes.
